CPV Excretion in Feces

 

CPV titers by haemagglutination test in fecal samples in dogs vaccinated with either Vanguard^® 7 or water solution followed by challenge with CPV2c.

 

Following challenge, the HA titers of CPV detected in the individual fecal samples of dogs in the vaccine group were always ≤160. Two dogs of the control group, however, showed a peak of virus shedding 4 days after challenge (day 46) with a HA titer of 162,240 and 81,120, respectively.
